 Have you struggled with low self esteem before? Do you feel everyone else except you has a bright future? Do you find it difficult to define yourself and your worth? Do you feel defiled, dirty and guilty about your past? If Yes, then sit let's talk about it.


       Identity is a character that marks off an individual from the rest. It distinguishes a person from the rest.
    A lot of us have had many negative circumstances that has marked us. For some people, sexual molestation has placed mark on them that when they look at themselves, all they can see is a dirty, helpless and hopeless being at a disadvantage. For some guys, masturbation has been a mark on them that they don't ever see themselves free. For some, it's failure and backwardness, that they never see themselves making progress in life.
Whichever case yours might be, that is not the real you.
      
      Listen friends, I know your mind is clouded by what you see right now but I want to you to know that there is someone you need to look at if you want to see the real you.

Ps.36.9 - For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.

There is so much that God has bestowed in us that we need to see in his Light. Without knowing the true light, we will struggle to fit into places that were originally meant for us.

Mathematicians define IDENTITY as an  equation which always holds true regardless of the choice of input variables.

This means that no matter what you put into the equation, it remains the same.

Exactly how God has ordained you that no matter what we go through, no matter how defiled and dirty you think you are, no matter how much failures and setback you have experienced in life, there is only one person that perfectly describes you and that is JESUS CHRIST.
Ephesians 1.11 - It's in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for.

As a single, knowing the real you is very essential in becoming all that God has written about you. You share the same DNA with Christ the moment you became born again.

In case situations has marred the  knowledge of  your identity, please permit me to show you a little of who you are and your place in God's heart even as you search and realize more about yourself.

Ephesians 1:3-14
1.3 - How blessed is God! And what a blessing he is! He's the Father of our Master, Jesus Christ, and takes us to the high places of blessing in him.
You are Blessed in God. You have a place in God's heart.!

1.4 - Long before he laid down earth's foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love.
You are God's project, the focus of his love, you are whole and holy!

1.5 - Long, long ago he decided to adopt us into his family through Jesus Christ. (What pleasure he took in planning this!)
You are a part of God's family- you are God's child and so, you are not abandoned but ACCEPTED!

1.6 - He wanted us to enter into the celebration of his lavish gift-giving by the hand of his beloved Son.
1.7 - Because of the sacrifice of the Messiah, his blood poured out on the altar of the Cross, we're a free people--free of penalties and punishments chalked up by all our misdeeds. And not just barely free, either. Abundantly free!
You are absolutely, totally and abundantly free from bondage, it's guilt, and the punishments attached to them.

1.8 - He thought of everything, provided for everything we could possibly need,
You are highly provided and cared for!

1.9 - letting us in on the plans he took such delight in making. He set it all out before us in Christ,
1.10 - a long-range plan in which everything would be brought together and summed up in him, everything in deepest heaven, everything on planet earth.
You have access to God's plan so you cannot be misdirected!

1.11 - It's in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living,
 You have a purpose, You are the apple of God's eyes

1.12 - part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone.
God is constantly working in you (so please trust the process)
1.13 - It's in Christ that you, once you heard the truth and believed it (this Message of your salvation), found yourselves home free--signed, sealed, and delivered by the Holy Spirit.
You are Born Again, so the Holy Spirit signed your freedom, authenticated and authorized it and then brought you out of darkness and sin and bondage. You are delivered!!
1.14 - This signet from God is the first installment on what's coming, a reminder that we'll get everything God has planned for us, a praising and glorious life.
You have the Holy Spirit, You have a glorious life, You have a special place in God's heart.

This is the real you! YOU ARE LOVED AND CHERISHED BY THE GREATEST BEING IN THE UNIVERSE.

Don't let your situation keep you down. Rise up now and become who you really are. Rise up from that mess and walk into the freedom that God has for you.

Don't forget that you are GREATLY LOVED BY ABBA and NOTHING can change that Identity.
